Hopewell Children's Homes is funded through subsidies from the Ministry of Community and Social Services and the Ministry of Children's and Youh Services, as well fees for service, donations and fundraising.
We would not be able to run the programs in Ariss, Stephanie Home and Playsense without donations and fundraising support in addition to government funding.  Over the past 27 years, most of that support has been spontaneous, the remaining came in through fundraising activities, with the help of a few parents, board members and staff.  Dring the past 3 years our organization has incurred a deficit.  We have increased fees for services and reduced expenses where possible.  in addition we will see government subsidies frozen for the next 2 years while expenses and taxes will continue to increase.

Hopewell's Heroes
In response:  Hopewell's board of directors has initiated a new annual giving program called "HOPEWELL'S HEROES".  Our heroes are the children and adults that we support, as well as the staff which does the hands on care.  
You can become a member of the heroes program by donating at least $500 per year.  Your donation can be a one time gift or spread out over the year.  You will be recognized in our newsletter, website and at our Hopewell Heroes BBQ.

Tax receipts will be issued for donations of $10.00 or more.
